Peace Village offers classes, workshops, and programs for people living in Greene, Ulster, and Albany counties and beyond. These are day or evening events, and do not involve an overnight stay.

Courses in several levels of Meditation are offered as well as workshops and programs such as Positive Thinking, Creating Happiness, Meditation for Self Mastery, and Stress Free Living. We also offer a variety of discussions on spiritual and relevant topics. Attending any of these sessions provides an opportunity for you to spend time in the tranquil environment of Peace Village and to enjoy hearing from experienced meditation teachers.

MEDITATION FOR SELF MASTERY
through Raja Yoga Meditation

A Four Session Introduction to Raja Yoga Meditation
When the winds of change and uncertainty are blowing, the ability to access inner peace and personal power for the challenges of each day is essential. Our inherent and original qualities are peace, stability, and happiness, but where and how did we lose access to such vital inner resources? This Self Mastery course can help!

Raja Yoga Meditation, as taught by the Brahma Kumaris, re-defines the self as a soul and enables a direct connection and relationship with the Supreme Source of purest energy and highest consciousness.
In this course you will learn how to:

CREATING HAPPINESS IN YOUR LIFE

Please join us as we sample the wisdom from Awakening with Brahma Kumaris, a very popular daily television show seen around the world. Each session reveals a logical yet comfortable way to adopt a spiritual perspective. We will enjoy a half hour program, and then have a lively discussion on how to make it practical in our lives. You may not be able to change reality, but you can learn to change your experience of reality.

SPECIAL MEDITATION FOR WORLD PEACE
The Third Sunday of Every Month from  6:30–7:30pm

Whether or not you know how to meditate, you are invited to join us at Peace Village on the third Sunday of each month for this special meditation event.

Since 1978, World Meditation has now spread to more than 125 countries with participants from all religious backgrounds coming together to radiate peace, love, and care to our world. Join us in the supportive atmosphere of Peace Village. Everyone is welcome!
